1 What's your return policy?
1.1 Can I return if I change my mind?
Yes! We offer a 10 day return policy in all items, as long as they are in re-sellable condition. We are very diligent at inspecting all of our products for defects before selling, but in a rare instance your product is received defective, please call us right away at 714-603-7017, so we can discuss the exchange options.
1.2 I had it blessed, but he/she didn't like the item, can I return?
No, this would be Simony. The Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2121 explains how a Catholic cannot buy or sell anything that offers spiritual power (has been blessed). The act of blessing an article, transforms the article to a Sacramental, it is no longer a mere object.
2 Church affiliation
2.1 Is everything already blessed?
No, this would be Simony. The Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2121 explains how a Catholic cannot buy or sell anything that offers spiritual power (has been blessed). The act of blessing an article, transforms the article to a Sacramental, it is no longer a mere object.
2.2 Are you affiliated with a Church or Religious organization?
No. We are a Mom n' Pop Catholic Shop (small retail business).
We buy our articles from accredited Catholic wholesalers for the purpose of selling for a small profit. This profit goes back into the business to pay for operating, and living expenses. By shopping with us, you are helping to keep Jesus Christ accessible to the world!
2.3 Should I have everything blessed?
The blessing of an item makes it a Sacramental (a sacred sign that bears a resemblance to a sacrament). A sacramental must be taken care of reverently, and disposed of properly once its use has expired. Items that typically become sacramentals are jewelry (crucifix, medals, rings), Scapulars, Rosaries, statues, and Family Bibles. All other items are very good resources and reminders to have, but not necessarily meant to sacramentals.
2.4 How can I get my items blessed?
After purchasing your items from us, you can take them to any Catholic Priest or Deacon. Typically at the Celebration Mass (baptism, wedding, etc.) there is an opportunity for the blessing of sacramentals. Otherwise, depending on the parish, you can visit the Rectory office during business hours, or see the Priest after Mass for a blessing.
