About the Saint: Sebastian was secretly a Christian soldier of the Roman army in 283 AD. When the Emperor found out he was a Christian, he had Sebastian shot with arrows to be killed. Sebastian miraculously survived due to his faith and bodily strength. He is the Patron Saint of Athletes and Soldiers.
